Questions before you start
How long does the assessment really take?
Ten minutes, give or take. We tested it with people from finance, IT, and ops backgrounds — the average is about 8 minutes if you know your environment, 12 minutes if you're not sure on a few answers and want to check first.
I'm not the NetSuite admin. Can I still take it?
Yes. The assessment is designed for CFOs, controllers, IT directors, COOs, and admins. The questions are written so you can answer based on what you can reasonably observe from your role. If you're a CFO and don't know whether your sandbox is tested before each release, "Don't know" is a valid answer — and that's data worth knowing.
What if our NetSuite is brand new?
If your NetSuite has been live less than a year, this assessment will likely return a very high score — which is good, but not informative. The failure modes we're measuring are things that develop over time. Come back after your second annual close and you'll get more out of it.
Will Power Cloud see my answers?
Yes — your answers, your score, and the failure modes flagged in your environment are visible to our team. We use them to write your results email and (only if you reply) to have an informed first conversation with you. Your data isn't shared with NetSuite or any third party.
Is this a real diagnostic, or marketing?
It's the diagnostic we run in our first conversation with every prospective client, packaged so you can run it yourself first. It's not a formal NetSuite audit — that takes us 2-3 weeks and involves direct access to your environment. But the questions are real, the scoring is the same one we use internally, and the failure modes are pulled from years of work on actual NetSuite environments.
